The Functional Managers play a key role in introducing and maintaining effective Teamwork. Building effective teams is all about communication and the development of people, and the skills and management style instilled by the Functional Manager are key. The Line Managers ability to successfully implement, develop and maintain effective teamwork will be directly related to the support and encouragement of the bosses!

  

Implementing a Team Culture

A Team culture within an organisation starts at the top and filters down through all levels of the organisation if it is to have the potential to achieve the maximum benefit. If the Senior Management Team fully buy-in, support and encourage the culture, and inspire by example, the basis is in place for achieving maximum results from the imitative.
